About Alexandria

I am a 25 year old artist based in Sydney, Australia. My skills are for the main part self-taught and I am in a constant state of honing my craft and learning new techniques. I primarily work with acrylics, graphite, ink and charcoal. Behind the scenes I am making art dolls from wire, clay, cotton and faux fur. I have an educational background in filmmaking and am passionate about nature photography.

Originally from the North West Coast of Tasmania, my childhood was mostly spent outdoors, learning to appreciate and respect the living world around me. When I was indoors, I taught myself how to draw and created stories within drawings. With my craft I bring my love of nature into something tangible and, at times, with spiritual undertones.
